Peters’ sister’s Last Will and Testament and a signed document stating that he will abide by the Papal decree of Sacrorum Antistitum.

This small volume contains approximately 40 pages of poetry and writings copied from various sources. It was owned by an unknown person, perhaps a student, but was the gift of “Fr. Rector” in 1880. It is possible that was Rev. Edward Boone, S.J. ninth president of Holy Cross.
Many of the entries were copied from well-known authors such as Emerson and Wordsworth and some are the works of Catholic clergy. There are several loose religious items in the volume.
